What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Care: Provide in-office psychotherapy and counseling under the direct supervision of experienced clinicians.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive case documentation, including client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team, benefiting from direct mentorship and ongoing supervision.
• Skill Development: Participate in structured training and discussions aimed at developing culturally competent and empathetic care practices.
• Caseload Management: Independently manage a client caseload within a supportive and structured clinical environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrollment in a master’s degree program in Social Work or a counseling-related field. This is an entry-level internship position.
• Experience: Commitment to an internship duration of two consecutive semesters or ideally a one-year commitment, with expected availability 10 to 24 hours per week during office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM).
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player committed to forming impactful relationships; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
