About Washington Regional Urgent Care:

• Centers are open seven days a week with specific hours:
• Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• All locations are Accredited Care Centers by the Urgent Care Association.

Job Description: Medical Receptionist

Location: Harrison, AR
Objective: To provide support to patients and medical staff by managing front desk tasks.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming Patients and Visitors: Greet patients and visitors in person, answer inquiries, and guide them through the registration process.
Phone and Documentation Management: Answer multi-line phones, handle filing, faxing, scanning documentation, and complete daily patient callbacks.
Patient Check-in/Check-out & Assistance: Check in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff, and close the office at the end of each shift.
Insurance and Payment Processing: Collect insurance information, verify patient demographics, process payments, post patient balances, and complete phone sheets.
Maintaining Environment: Maintain a neat and clean work environment and professional appearance.
Adherence to Procedures: Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting (minimum of one year performing Front Desk tasks like patient check-in, insurance verification, etc.).
Schedule:
Full-time: Rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend.
PRN (Per Diem): Scheduled on an as-needed basis.
