Washington Regional Urgent Care is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. They have six locations in Northwest Arkansas and provide quality and affordable family healthcare. Their centers are open seven days a week with extended hours and offer treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. They are an Accredited Care Center by the Urgent Care Association.
Job Description:
Washington Regional Urgent Care in Harrison, AR is seeking Medical Receptionists to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience performing front desk tasks in a healthcare setting. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, activating patient files, and providing support to patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and visitors, answering inquiries and directing them through registration.
• Answer multi-line phones, filing, faxing, scanning documentation, and completing patient callbacks.
• Check-in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff, and close the office.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments, post balances, and complete phone sheets.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment and professional appearance.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting.
Schedule:
• Full-time: Rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend.
• PRN (per diem): Scheduled on an as-needed basis.
