Role Summary:
Medical Assistants are considered valuable members of the patient care team within Providence clinics. In this on-call role, caregivers will support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, and reliable healthcare, adhering to Providence’s core values: Justice, Excellence, Dignity, Integrity, and Compassion.

Schedule: On-call, Day shift (with multiple shifts available overall). This is a Part-time position.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet specific educational/training and experience criteria:
Education/Training (one of the following):
• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants. OR
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program. OR
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces. OR
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
Certifications:
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
Experience:
• 6 months of Healthcare experience.
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.

Pay Range:
The base pay range for this role is $23.15 – $35.42.
Additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
