Job Description: ME/EE Engineering Internship

Department: Motors
Location: Duluth, GA
Role Overview:
WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a motivated Mechanical or Electrical Engineering intern to contribute to their application engineering team. This internship offers experience with low voltage electric motors and real-world applications. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to projects while developing skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Create technical documentation (datasheets, drawings) using available engineering software.
• Assist LV Motors team members.
• Support the application engineering team for the quotation process.
• Support virtual benchmarking activities.

Knowledge / Training:
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Mainly Excel and PowerPoint).
• Introductory knowledge of product development.
• Familiarity with fundamental electrical and mechanical concepts and terminology.
• Willingness to learn about low voltage electric motors.

Education:
• High School/GED – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Majors
