What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze strategic positions of Emerson peers and competitors.
• Identify: Identify strategic partners and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Prepare: Prepare strategy presentations for Emerson executives and the Emerson Board of Directors.
• Support: Support leadership in annual strategic planning exercises and conferences.
• Perform: Perform internal consulting engagements to improve the performance of Emerson’s business units and world area organizations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Working towards the completion of an MBA, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, science, business, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years’ relevant professional experience.
• Skills:
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Capability to acquire and analyze data from multiple and diverse sources.
• Strategic foresight and accurate anticipation of future trends.
• Effective communication across various settings, groups, and position levels.
