MBA Leadership Development Program | J.B. Poindexter & Co

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role within J.B. Poindexter & Co.’s MBA Leadership Development Program, designed for individuals ready for a multi-location rotational experience across hubs in Elkhart, IN/Sturgis, MI and Reading, PA/Morgantown, PA. J.B. Poindexter & Co. is a privately held, diversified manufacturing company with over $2.5B in annual revenues and 8,000 team members, producing commercial truck bodies, step-vans, utility trucks, ambulances, electric and alternative fuel vehicles, and expandable foam plastic packaging. This program is established to identify and cultivate future leaders for the organization, offering an accelerated pathway to Senior Manager, Director, and Vice President level roles within operations or supply chain at one of its businesses.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in a comprehensive two-year rotation program, specifically designed to accelerate your development into a senior leadership role.
• Learn: Spend six months in various operations or supply chain positions across different business units, gaining an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and broader business functions.
• Develop: Collaborate on and follow an Individual Development Plan to ensure a structured and comprehensive learning experience throughout the program.
• Mentor: Report directly to the Corporate SVP of Operations, who will serve as an executive-level mentor, providing guidance and insights during your program tenure.
• Lead: Upon successful completion of the program, transition into a key leadership position within one of our manufacturing locations across the United States, demonstrating flexibility in terms of placement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Obtain an M.B.A. degree between 2025-2026 from an accredited four-year university, with a specific focus on operations, supply chain, business, or entrepreneurship.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct, hands-on supply chain or mechanical engineering experience acquired on the plant floor for a discrete manufacturer, such as in automotive, machinery, or durable goods sectors. Demonstrated measurable achievements in manufacturing, preferably in prior management or leadership capacities.
• Skills: Proven capability in operations, supply chain, or engineering roles. Demonstrated ability to build strong and lasting professional relationships across teams and levels. Exhibit leadership experience from either academic or professional settings.
• Bonus: A G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher from your M.B.A. program is preferred for this role.
