Job Description

About Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWR) is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Leveraging a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies trigger the RNA interference (RNAi) mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNAi, a natural cellular mechanism, inhibits the expression of specific genes, thereby affecting protein production, which Arrowhead’s therapeutics harness for gene silencing.

The company focuses on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, often characterized by the overproduction of disease-involved proteins. The versatility of Arrowhead’s RNAi technologies allows for potential application across virtually any therapeutic area, targeting diseases not addressable by small molecules or biologics. Arrowhead is a leader in extending the promise of RNAi beyond the liver, with a clinical pipeline including disease targets in the liver and lung, alongside a promising preclinical pipeline.

Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is located in Pasadena, CA, with research and development teams in Madison, WI, & San Diego, CA, and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Verona, WI. Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need.
