Marketing Summer Intern

Position Summary:

The B. Braun Internship Program offers a meaningful experience within the Life Sciences industry for college and university-enrolled or recently graduated students. Interns gain valuable corporate or operations learning experience through a finite project determined by each department. Projects vary based on departmental needs, ensuring a relevant work experience.

  • Duration: Internships require a minimum of a ten to twelve-week commitment.
  • Mentorship: A mentor will be assigned to each intern for guidance.
  • Deliverable: Interns will conduct a presentation to their department outlining their internship experience.

Key Intern Assignment/Project Activities:

  • Update Vascular Portfolio Literature (in collaboration with Marcom).
  • Assist with additional marketing projects as needed.

Nature of the Work & Learning Environment:

  • Assignments are generally routine and repetitious.
  • Work is performed within narrowly defined parameters, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Interns normally receive detailed instructions on all tasks.
  • Work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.
  • May require some limited judgment in resolving problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with the direct supervisor, peers, and subordinates.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Jr/Sr Year Marketing/Business College Student.
  • Exposure to Product Marketing, Analytical Skills, Some Advertising/Promotional/Web.
  • Computer skills desired: Excel (tables), PPT, Word, Teams/Teams Apps.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
  • Completion of Sophomore or higher level at an accredited college or university.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • 0-2 years related experience required (entry-level).

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors considered when making compensation and hiring decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
