Job Description
The available positions are for Marketing Strategy and Event Marketing Interns. These roles are under the direct supervision of the Strategy Director and the broader Strategy department, providing support across Knight Eady’s entire portfolio of clients and events.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Project Collaboration & Management: Work with the agency services team, account managers, and event directors on various strategy, marketing, and communications projects. This includes managing timelines, coordinating with the creative team, and ensuring final project delivery.
• Content Creation & Curation: Develop and curate engaging marketing and communications content, such as press releases, blog posts, social media content, and materials for press events.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain media lists for the distribution of press materials, execute distribution, and follow up with media contacts.
• On-site Media Support: Provide direct media support at events, which may involve assisting with press conferences, distributing in-game statistics, facilitating interviews with athletes and coaches, and coordinating on-site media operations.
• Event Support: Serve the media relations team and the larger Knight Eady team on-site at events, offering social media support and performing other assigned duties. Fall 2025 events may include exhibition NCAA men’s and women’s basketball games, AHSAA’s Super 7, and Space Race, among others.
• Social Media Strategy & Execution: Create research-driven social media strategies, collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary content, execute these strategies, and analyze their performance, including in-game social media execution at events.
• Grassroots Marketing: Research, ideate, and execute grassroots marketing strategies to enhance the presence of clients and events within local communities.
• Innovation & Ideation: Contribute innovative and fresh ideas for assigned accounts, grounded in thorough research and current industry trends.
• Quality & Collaboration: Deliver work of the highest quality, actively collaborating with team members to develop new ideas.
• Project & Client Management: Manage multiple projects and clients concurrently, ensuring that each unique brand voice is maintained and individual client goals are tracked.
• Skill Development: Work closely with the Strategy Director and Strategists to develop new skills and gain fresh insights.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with management, providing updates and effectively escalating any roadblocks encountered.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Perform other duties as assigned, including providing cross-departmental support on-site at events.

• While attendance at events is appreciated, it is not a mandatory requirement for interns.
