Job Description: Marketing & Public Relations Intern
Closr is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Public Relations Intern to bolster their brand’s digital presence and cultivate their community. Working closely with the leadership team, the intern will contribute to various aspects of marketing and PR, including:
• Campaign Development: Participating in the ideation and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Social Media Management: Managing and creating content for Closr’s social media platforms (primarily Instagram and TikTok). This includes daily posting, community engagement, and content calendar management. The role requires strong content creation skills across various formats (written, graphic, video).
• Influencer Outreach: Identifying and collaborating with relevant influencers to promote the brand and its designers.
• Media Monitoring & Research: Tracking media mentions and conducting market research to inform marketing strategies.
• Designer Collaboration: Working directly with designers to develop and implement social media strategies, promoting their products and stories across Closr’s channels and website.
• Event Planning: Assisting in the planning and execution of curated events in New York City to showcase the global emerging designers.
• Analytics & Reporting: Tracking social media performance using analytics tools and providing data-driven recommendations.
• Graphic Design: Creating graphics for social media and website assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strategy Development: Contributing to the development of strategies to engage the target audience and existing customers.
The ideal candidate will possess strong social media skills (particularly Instagram and TikTok), excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for sustainable fashion and emerging designers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
