About the Job: Marketing Investment Analytics Intern

About The Role & Program

Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) (Hulu, Disney+, ESPN) team is seeking a highly intuitive and self-driven intern to join the Marketing Investment Analytics team, a unit within the broader Marketing Analytics team. This team focuses on informing Marketing and Finance teams by providing relevant historical insights, identifying opportunities, and defining strategies and tactics for optimizations.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

As an intern, you’ll be involved in a variety of exciting projects that will challenge and develop your skillsets in a fast-paced digital media environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Marketing Science, Data Engineering, and Data Product teams.
  • Focus on supporting marketing investment analytics measurement tools, documentation, and delivering key business insights to propel DTC business growth.
  • Actively leverage AI technologies to enhance analytics capabilities and create innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the AI evolution of the team’s tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Co-create with AI to facilitate crucial tasks such as:
    • Automating measurements.
    • Contextualizing data.
    • Interpreting and conducting analyses.
    • Deriving narratives for stakeholders to empower effective decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years of hands-on analytical work/project experience.
  • Familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Snowflake, Databricks, Jupyter, Google Sheets or Excel, Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong motivation to work in media and ability to learn from questions as well as experiences.
  • Experience in manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends, and using a multitude of disparate data sources and tools.
  • Familiarity with documenting data requirements, data strategy, and data rules (standardization, cleanse, and validation).
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot issues, analyze causes, quickly propose solutions, document changes, and communicate organizational impact.
  • Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker, with a demonstrable portfolio of clear, intuitive, and insightful visualizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative teammate who is also a self-starter and can work independently.
  • Strong interest in marketing analytics and media measurement.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency with advanced SQL, basic Python/R, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Familiarity/competency in data science topics such as statistics, optimization, and/or econometrics.
  • Certification(s) in AI, machine learning, or relevant cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Disney business domain knowledge.
  • Ability to identify and appropriately call out issues to leadership.

Education

  • Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this position are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the position, 40 hours per week.
  • The pay rate for this internship in New York is $31 per hour.
