Job Description: Marketing Internship – UnitedHealthcare Government Programs

This is a full-time, hybrid internship position available Summer 2025, located in Minnetonka, MN, or Indianapolis, IN with remote work flexibility (ET or CT time zones). Visa sponsorship is not offered.

The internship is within the UnitedHealthcare Government Programs Marketing team, focusing on consumer marketing for Medicare and Exchange health plan members. Responsibilities include:

Content Support: Developing marketing and brand campaign plans, supporting messaging, and executing projects related to strategic initiatives.
Digital Marketing: Executing email and web marketing communication campaigns.
Demand Generation: Analyzing campaign performance, developing marketing materials, and executing campaigns.
Customer Segmentation: Collaborating with internal and external teams on consumer marketing initiatives.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence: Researching industry and competitive trends to inform product and marketing strategies.
Marketing Operations: Collaborating with Marketing and other partners to ensure timely campaign delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university during the internship (not for graduating seniors).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions (no visa sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.00 GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn new tools and processes.

Compensation:

The hourly range is $18.00 to $32.00 per hour (full-time). Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility).
