Job Description: Marketing Internship – Client Engagement Marketing
This is a full-time, 10-week hybrid internship position starting Summer 2025 within UnitedHealth Group’s Enterprise Marketing & Customer Office. Specifically, this role supports the new Client Engagement Marketing function within OI Provider Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Client Engagement Marketing campaigns: The intern will contribute to improving the client experience through targeted digital communications. This includes designing client journeys, crafting messaging, and identifying valuable resources.
• Segmentation and contact management: The intern will segment client populations and maintain/grow the contact database.
• Data & analysis: Responsibilities include documenting digital communication performance, conducting A/B tests, and reporting findings to stakeholders.
• Support tasks: The intern will assist with various aspects of client engagement, including events, requirements gathering, goal setting, campaign ideation/planning, execution, multichannel communications, results measurement, and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university during the internship. (Graduating seniors are not eligible).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship (no F-1 students with practical training or candidates needing H-1Bs, TNs, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA.
Compensation:
The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour for full-time employment. Actual pay depends on factors like location, education, experience, and certifications.
