Job Description:
Marketing Internship
This internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in marketing while contributing to the success of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Interns are matched with projects based on their skills and the company’s current needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with implementing promotional campaigns and marketing communication initiatives (content creation, social media management, email marketing).
• Support digital marketing efforts such as search engine optimization (SEO) and social media advertising.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement marketing programs, ensuring effective project management and timely delivery.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to gain insights and contribute to marketing strategies.
• Assist in creating and maintaining marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, and sales collateral.
• Partner with leadership to identify areas for improvement and benchmark against industry standards.
• Learn continuous improvement methodologies and help promote improvement initiatives.
• Support the execution of marketing/sales enablement initiatives to drive business results.
Timeline and Compensation:
• Start Date: May 12th or June 16th, 2025 (depending on student availability)
• Duration: 10-12 weeks
• hourly Rate: $18.50 – $24.50 (dependent on location and cost-of-living guidelines)
• Relocation Stipend: $5,000 (eligible for students located 50+ miles from the internship location)
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate student pursuing a Marketing or Business-related degree (graduation between December 2025 and June 2026).
• 0 years of work experience (previous internships are preferred).
• Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
• Passion for change, driven to achieve results, and adept at navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
