Internship Description

The Mary Kay Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students a comprehensive and hands-on learning experience. This program provides valuable work experience at the #1 Direct Selling brand of Skin Care and Color Cosmetics in the World.

Internship Highlights:

People-centered culture: Interns gain insight into Mary Kay’s values and culture through various activities.
Product knowledge: Gain familiarity with Mary Kay’s products and their impact on consumers.
Independent Sales Force: Learn about Mary Kay’s unique sales model and its connection to the Independent Sales Force.
Professional development: Participate in Lunch & Learns, formal mentorship program, cross-functional projects, special events, and networking opportunities with executive team members.
Marketing focus: Interns contribute to marketing efforts that support Independent Beauty Consultants across global markets.
Diverse areas: Explore opportunities in digital marketing, research, and other disciplines.
Summer Program Details:
Duration: 10 weeks (Early June to mid-August)
Location: Global Headquarters in Addison, TX or Manufacturing/R&D Facility in Lewisville, TX
Compensation: Paid, starting at $20/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, requiring 4-5 days in the office

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Strong multi-project management skills.
Detail-oriented with a passion for exceptional customer experiences.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Social media savvy with a strong work ethic.
Passion for the beauty industry.
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok for a business or organization (preferred, not required).
Experience in events (preferred, not required).

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree.
Full-time enrollment (undergraduate) or part-time (graduate) as defined by the university at the time of application.
Minimum Sophomore status.
Rising juniors or seniors preferred.
Preferred Degrees: Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Social Media, Business, Digital Marketing
