This internship role provides an opportunity to make a tangible impact within the marketing function, focusing on learning and contributing to various aspects of marketing and sales.
Key responsibilities and learning opportunities include:
• Marketing Plan Development & Analysis: Assisting in the creation of marketing plans by conducting fundamental market research and performing pricing analyses. The intern will then present these findings to their manager for discussion and interpretation, gaining insight into strategic decision-making.
• Marketing Communications: Collaborating with leaders to develop comprehensive marketing communication plans. This involves preparing initial drafts of marketing communications, contributing directly to outreach efforts.
• Project Management Support: Providing essential project management assistance, including communicating plans, deadlines, and achievements to project team members, ensuring smooth project execution and information flow.
• Value Package Introduction (VPI) Learning: Observing and learning the critical role of Marketing within Value Package Introduction project teams. The intern may also support other marketing team members with assigned tasks related to new product or service launches.
• Brand Strategy Alignment: Understanding the company’s global brand strategy and learning how to align specific work products and initiatives with this overarching vision.
• Systems and Processes Acumen: Gaining knowledge of relevant marketing and sales systems and processes. This includes collecting customer satisfaction data, which will then be presented to the manager for discussion and interpretation, contributing to customer-centric improvements.
• Channel Understanding: Learning about relevant marketing channels to effectively support various marketing activities.
• Collaboration: Working effectively and collaborating with teams across different regions and business units, fostering cross-functional and global teamwork.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement activities, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of marketing processes and outcomes.
