Summer Internship: Marketing Intern – Undergrad
This 10-week internship offers valuable hands-on experience in marketing, allowing interns to lead impactful business projects and learn from experienced professionals.
Locations:
• Chicago, IL (PepsiCo Foods, Gatorade, PBNA Central Division)
• Purchase, NY (PepsiCo Beverages)
• Plano, TX (PepsiCo Foods)
Responsibilities:
Interns will be presented with a real-world business challenge and tasked with:
• Thinking critically and engaging with cross-functional partners.
• Providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Specific tasks may include:
• Partnering with agencies to create brand positioning and communication strategies.
• Generating brand activation ideas and strategies based on consumer insights.
• Analyzing brand performance, competitor performance, and channel dynamics.
• Developing communications plans for new product launches and promotional events.
• Supporting innovation teams in consumer analysis, concept development, and graphics development.
The Summer Experience:
• Gain 10 weeks of marketing experience on a core marketing function.
• Be assigned a mentor/buddy.
• Attend intern networking events.
• Receive exposure to executive leadership.
• Gain insights into various career paths within PepsiCo marketing.
Compensation & Benefits:
• hourly pay range: $21.50 – $40.19/hour (depending on role, degree discipline, degree level, and location).

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.
• Preferred majors: Business or Marketing (other majors will be considered).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Interest in working in one of the following locations: Plano, Texas; Purchase, New York; Chicago, Illinois.
• Indefinite right to work in the United States.
Preferred Candidate Experience and Characteristics:
• Proven leadership through extracurricular involvement.
• Relevant marketing experience (on- or off-campus).
• Unique experiences demonstrating creative instinct, passion for marketing, and deep consumer empathy.
• Passion for consumer brands.
• Familiarity with digital media platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to find actionable solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
• Strong drive for results.
• Intellectual curiosity.
