Marketing Intern | Elara

The Tone:
This is a remote internship at Elara. Elara is an AI-native software platform designed to automate immigration filing for both individuals and corporations, aiming to be a “TurboTax for immigration.” As an early-stage startup, Elara is dedicated to transforming the immigration legal space. This role is a significant opportunity for a creative, trend-obsessed Marketing Intern to not only own Elara’s social media presence but also to scale existing successful strategies. The selected individual won’t simply execute tasks; they will play a key role in shaping how this category-defining company presents itself to the world and grows its user base, which has been entirely built through organic social media without any paid acquisition.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Marketing Funnel Leadership: Take responsibility for leading aspects of a marketing funnel, driving users through various stages.
• Social Media Presence Ownership: Fully own and strategically grow Elara’s presence across all relevant social media platforms.
• Short-Form Video Content Production: Shoot, edit, and produce engaging short-form video content to capture audience attention and convey messages effectively.
• Trust-Building Content Development: Develop impactful content that educates the audience, builds trust, and effectively converts potential users, understanding the high stakes involved in the immigration space.
• Campaign Contribution: Contribute creatively and/or with data-driven insights to various marketing campaigns designed to expand the user base.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated prior experience is required, which can include internships, successfully growing an online audience, or building a brand from scratch.
• Skills: Proficiency in clear and effective communication; a strong inclination towards either creative content generation or data-driven analysis; an autonomous, self-starter mentality.
• Bonus: Familiarity with digital marketing tools or CRM software is considered a plus. Additionally, experience within immigrant communities, with legal or fintech content, or with mission-driven brands would be highly advantageous.
