Job Description: Undergraduate Marketing Internship (Intern II)

This is an Undergraduate Marketing Internship, likely titled “Intern II” based on compensation details. The internship is full-time, with a Standard (Mon-Fri) Work Schedule and an Office-based Environmental Condition.

Impact and Project Focus:
Interns at Thermo Fisher Scientific are matched to projects carefully, considering their abilities and the current business needs. All assigned projects hold significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business.

Potential Summer Project Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with leadership to identify and address areas for efficiency improvement, including benchmarking with industry best practices.
Becoming a process owner, meticulously reviewing specific processes, and proactively recommending opportunities for enhancement.
Learning and promoting continuous improvement methodologies such as PPI (Practical Process Improvement), Six Sigma, and others.
Supporting the execution of marketing/sales enablement initiatives to drive business results.
Developing automated data loads and schedules to ensure timely information availability.
Performing ad hoc analysis and compiling data for various projects.
Maintaining PowerBI and providing reporting support for the system and its users.
Establishing measurements and targets based on historic and forecasted data to develop marketing plans, roadmaps, and tactical elements.

Internship Details:
Start Date: The internship is scheduled to begin on either May 11th or June 15th, 2026.
Duration: It will last for 10-12 weeks, dependent upon the student’s academic calendar and availability.

Compensation & Relocation:
Hourly Rate: Undergraduate Marketing internships offer an hourly rate between $18.50 – $24.50. This rate is dependent upon the location being supported and is aligned with respective cost-of-living guidelines. The estimated range for this position in Massachusetts is within this range.
Relocation Stipend: A relocation stipend of $5,000 is offered if necessary. To be eligible, the student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship.
Additional Compensation & Benefits: The position may also be eligible to receive a Variable Annual Bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results. U.S. colleagues receive a Comprehensive Total Rewards Package which includes:

Qualifications:
Education: Applicants must be an undergraduate student completing a Marketing or Business-related degree with a graduation window between December 2026 and June 2027.
Experience: 0 years of work experience is required, though previous related internships are preferred.
