Job Description: Marketing Intern (Intern II)
This is a 10-12 week summer internship for undergraduate students (rising seniors) pursuing a Marketing or Business-related degree between December 2025 and June 2026.
Responsibilities: Interns will be assigned projects based on their skills and the company’s needs. All projects will have strategic and/or operational importance. Potential responsibilities include:
• Partnering with leadership to identify and address areas for efficiency improvement and benchmarking against industry best practices.
• Becoming a process owner; critically reviewing processes and recommending improvements.
• Learning continuous improvement methodologies (PPI, Six Sigma, etc.) and promoting improvement initiatives.
• Supporting the execution of marketing/sales enablement initiatives to drive business results.
• Developing automated data loads and schedules to ensure timely information.
• Performing ad hoc analysis and compiling data for various projects.
• Maintaining PowerBI and providing reporting support.
• Establishing measurements and targets based on historical and forecasted data to develop marketing plans, roadmaps, and tactical elements.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate student (rising senior) in Marketing or Business-related field graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.
• 0 years of work experience required; previous internships preferred.
• Consistent record of demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
• Ability to champion change, drive results, and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
Location & Timing:
Geographic flexibility is offered with possible locations in: Grand Island, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; Asheville, NC; Fair Lawn, NJ; Hillsboro, OR; Waltham, MA; Carlsbad, CA; and San Jose, CA. The internship starts either May 12th or June 16th, 2025.
Compensation:
• hourly rate: $18.50 – $24.50 (depending on location and cost of living).
• Relocation stipend: $5,000 (if the student lives 50+ miles from the internship location).
Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status. Thermo Fisher does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT Visas for practical experience purposes.
