Job Title: Marketing Intern

RIOS is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our Marketing and Communications team in organizing and developing content for our global portfolio. The intern will play a vital role in collecting, organizing, and updating project assets for the RIOS website, while gaining significant exposure to marketing processes and cross-studio collaboration across our six global offices.

What You’ll Learn:

The Marketing Intern will gain valuable experience with:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom)
  • Website content management systems
  • Digital asset management and image optimization
  • Copywriting and editing of project descriptions
  • Collaborative workflows within a multidisciplinary design team

Responsibilities:

  • Help collect, organize, and maintain project assets (renderings, photography, narratives) across RIOS’ portfolio.
  • Assist with gathering visual and written content from studio teams for the RIOS website and marketing materials.
  • Support writing and editing project descriptions that clearly communicate design concepts and outcomes, ensuring consistency in brand voice and visual presentation.
  • Support content organization, image optimization, and uploading for web and digital platforms.
  • Maintain organized asset libraries and assist with content management systems.
  • Support the preparation of materials for design award submissions and presentations.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketing team members to help translate design work for digital and branded use.
  • Conduct research on current industry trends and analyze competitor activities to provide actionable insights that support marketing strategies.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and day-to-day marketing tasks.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A keen interest in learning about design processes and visual storytelling.
  • A strong interest in architecture, design, and the built environment, as well as an understanding of design principles and aesthetic sensibility.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and curiosity, able to take initiative and go above and beyond tasks given.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams and disciplines.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task effectively.

Internship Details:

  • This is a full-time paid internship program.
  • Duration: June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026.
  • You must be available for the entire duration of the program.
  • Compensation: $23 per hour.
