Marketing Intern – Undergrad
This 10-week internship program offers a chance to experience the world of marketing at PepsiCo firsthand. You’ll be immersed in impactful business projects, gain valuable hands-on experience, and learn from seasoned marketing professionals. You will work across one of our three U.S. headquarters: Chicago, IL (PepsiCo Foods, Gatorade, PBNA Central Division), Purchase, NY (PepsiCo Beverages), or Plano, TX (PepsiCo Foods).
Your Challenge:
• You will be tasked with tackling a real-world business challenge, requiring critical thinking and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• At the end of the internship, you will present a strategic recommendation to senior leadership.
What You Can Expect:
• Think like an entrepreneur: You will be given substantial responsibility to craft high-impact marketing recommendations that drive PepsiCo’s short- and long-term strategic objectives.
• Develop leadership capabilities: You’ll demonstrate functional ownership, leadership skills, and business acumen.
• Exposure to Best-in-Class: Gain exposure to leading brands, campaigns, and marketers through professional development initiatives and mentorship.
Your Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with agencies to develop brand positioning and communication strategies.
• Generate brand activation ideas based on consumer insights.
• Analyze brand performance, competitor dynamics, and channel trends.
• Create communication plans to support new product launches and promotional events.
• Assist innovation teams with consumer analysis, concept development, and graphics creation.
The Summer Experience:
• Meaningful Experience: Gain 10 weeks of marketing experience across core functions like brand, innovation, shopper marketing, and sports marketing.
• Mentorship & Networking: Benefit from a dedicated mentor/buddy, participate in intern networking events, and build lasting relationships.
• Executive Exposure: Gain insight into the various career paths available within PepsiCo’s marketing department, including General Management and CMO roles.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive Pay: Hourly pay ranges from $20.50 – $39.60/hour, determined by role, degree discipline, level, and location.
