About Jingo

Jingo (www.jingo.app) is a San Francisco-based startup building a new kind of shopping platform for the next generation. We bring together the brands people already love – across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle – in one place, with free shipping, automatic savings, and a more personal shopping experience.

We’re currently live in an invite-only pilot at USC and expanding city-by-city, starting with New York. Our team is backed by leaders from Walmart, Amazon, Pinterest, Google, Nike, and Lululemon.

The Role: Marketing Intern (New York City)

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern in NYC to help kick-start early distribution and cultural momentum on the ground. This is not a traditional corporate internship — it’s a high-agency role for someone who lives in the world of:

  • Fashion + Lifestyle
  • Creators + Tastemakers
  • Communities + Social Discovery

You’ll help shape how Jingo shows up in New York.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Help introduce Jingo to the right early users in NYC (friends, creators, communities).
  • Support grassroots marketing experiments (events, gifting, partnerships, referrals).
  • Identify cultural pockets where Jingo should spread first.
  • Create lightweight content + storytelling for Instagram and community channels.
  • Work directly with the founder + core team on growth strategy.
  • Provide constant feedback from real users on what resonates.

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

You might be a great fit if you are:

  • Deeply tapped into NYC social + fashion culture.
  • Extremely resourceful and high-agency.
  • The type of person friends ask for recommendations: what to buy, where to shop, what’s trending.
  • Excited by startups and building something from zero.
  • Comfortable moving fast, testing ideas, and iterating weekly.

No prior startup experience required – taste, hustle, and judgment matter more.

Details

  • Location: New York City
  • Time Commitment: ~10–15 hrs/week
  • Compensation: Paid, part-time internship
  • Duration: Spring 2026 (with potential to extend)
