This is a Marketing Internship position at Thermo Fisher Scientific, designed to provide professional mentorship and leadership development opportunities.

Work Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri)
Environmental Conditions: Office

Impact of the Role:
Interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All assigned projects hold significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business. The company supports interns who wish to return for repeat internships, transition into Leadership Development Programs, or pursue full-time positions post-graduation.

Summer Project Responsibilities May Include:
Partnership and Efficiency: Collaborating with leadership to identify and address areas for efficiency improvement, benchmarking with industry best practices.
Process Ownership: Critically reviewing specific processes with great attention to detail and proactively recommending improvement opportunities.
Continuous Improvement: Learning and helping to promote continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., PPI, Six Sigma).
Marketing/Sales Enablement: Supporting the execution of marketing and sales enablement initiatives to drive business results.
Data Automation: Developing automated data loads and schedules to ensure timely information.
Analysis and Reporting: Performing ad hoc analysis and compiling data for various projects.
PowerBI Support: Maintaining PowerBI and providing reporting support for the system and its users.
Strategic Planning: Establishing measurements and targets based on historic and forecasted data to develop marketing plans, roadmaps, and tactical elements.

Internship Schedule & Compensation:
Start Date: This internship is set to begin on either May 11th or June 15th, 2026.
Duration: 10-12 weeks, dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.
Compensation: Undergraduate Marketing internships offer an hourly rate between $18.50 – $24.50, dependent upon the supporting location (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). For this position based in Massachusetts, the estimated hourly pay range is $18.50-$24.50.
Relocation Stipend: A relocation stipend of $5,000 is offered if necessary, for students located 50+ miles away from the physical internship location.

Qualifications:
Education: Undergraduate student completing a Marketing or Business-related degree between December 2026 and June 2027.
Experience: 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
Track Record: Consistent track record demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
Attributes: Energized by championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

Visa Requirements:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status. Thermo Fisher Scientific does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.

Compensation And Benefits:
