Job Description:
Job Title: Marketing Intern (Hybrid) – Adler
Location: NYC area (Remote with some local college visits). The role requires local travel 2–3 times per month for outreach or user engagement.
Type: Part-time Internship (10–15 hours/week)
Compensation: Unpaid. However, there is a priority consideration for a future paid role (product marketing founding role) after the app launch, or potential to become a paid role post-launch.
Duration: Fall Semester 2025, with potential to extend for winter-spring.
Start Date: ASAP or early October.
About the Role:
Adler is seeking a passionate Marketing Intern to primarily focus on two key areas:
1. Helping to build a compelling and ambitious product marketing strategy.
2. Experimenting with the social media content strategy.
This position is ideal for college students in NYC who are eager to apply their skills to drive real-world impact and gain experience in product marketing, particularly if they are passionate about mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and schedule posts, reels, and story content across Instagram and TikTok.
• Design on-brand graphics and short-form video content using Canva or CapCut.
• Monitor social trends and suggest creative ideas for campaigns and viral reach.
• Write captions, hashtags, and descriptions with a strong audience-relatable voice.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and help build a positive community.
• Occasionally partner with local colleges (e.g., CUNY, SUNY, NYU, LIU, Hofstra) to run early user testing, gather feedback, and practical insights from early users.
• Help manage influencer outreach and social collaborations.
• Support marketing strategy meetings and give feedback on branding direction.
Who They’re Looking For (Ideal Candidate Profile):
The ideal candidate is a social media-savvy student or recent grad who is familiar with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and design tools like Canva or CapCut.
• Active presence on Instagram, TikTok, or other social platforms (preferably with experience in audience acquisition on TikTok).
• Up-to-date on memes, Gen Z trends, and what makes people click.
• Natural communicator with strong writing skills.
• Organized, reliable, positive, and comfortable working independently.
• Able to travel locally 2–3 times per month for outreach or user engagement.
• Bonus if studying marketing, communications, psychology, or a health-related field.
• Bonus if experienced using mental health apps like Calm or Headspace.
