Job Title: Marketing Intern
Pay: Pay varies by location.
Summary:
This role involves working alongside the Dining Services team to support and promote dining programs, events, and initiatives across campus. It is an ideal position for students interested in marketing, communications, or hospitality. The Marketing Intern will primarily assist with social media management, content creation, event planning, and student outreach, with the goal of enhancing engagement and improving the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities:
• Creating and scheduling social media content specifically designed to promote campus dining options and events.
• Assisting in the planning and promotion of on-campus food events and campaigns.
• Learning how to successfully conduct surveys to gather student feedback.
• Designing various marketing materials, including posters, flyers, and digital graphics.
• Collaborating with the dining services team and student organizations to increase program awareness.
• Monitoring current marketing trends and suggesting creative strategies for implementation.
• Learning and maintaining comprehensive knowledge about campus meal plans, dining locations, and overall hospitality programs.
• Learning and effectively utilizing the necessary tools and technology to complete daily tasks and projects.
• Undertaking other marketing or hospitality-related responsibilities as assigned.
• May be assigned additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Possession of a strong creative vision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for successful customer promotion and engagement.
• Technical Proficiency:
