Chartwells Higher Education is hiring for a Marketing Intern position at their location in Los Angeles, CA. The internship is open to students of any major and is a great opportunity for those interested in the field of marketing. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as experience with social media platforms and customer service. Prior marketing experience and knowledge of graphic design tools are a plus.

As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote the dining program at CSUN. Your responsibilities will include researching the target market, planning and brainstorming marketing initiatives, promoting the program through various platforms, and implementing those plans. This is not a typical internship, as you will have the opportunity to spearhead projects and request assignments that expand your knowledge base.

The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting with planning and hosting events, maintaining the Dine on Campus website, developing and executing social media campaigns, representing the brand, conducting marketing audits, completing general administrative tasks, and collecting marketing research through student surveys. You will also be responsible for creating marketing materials, managing signage, and assisting with the development of concepts, campaigns, and imagery.

The internship offers a comprehensive learning experience, including the opportunity to demonstrate skills necessary to work in a diverse environment, learn how to create and implement a marketing plan, conduct market research to generate a larger audience, and utilize multiple platforms and strategies to effectively promote a brand.
