This is for a Marketing Intern position, working alongside the Dining Services team to support and promote dining programs, events, and initiatives across campus.

Pay: Pay for this position varies by location.
Ideal Candidate: This role is ideal for a student interested in marketing, communications, or hospitality.
Role Purpose: The Marketing Intern will primarily assist with social media management, content creation, event planning, and student outreach, with the overall goal of enhancing engagement and improving the dining experience for students.

Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule social media content to promote campus dining options and events.
• Assist in planning and promoting various on-campus food events and campaigns.
• Learn and successfully conduct surveys to gather student feedback.
• Design diverse marketing materials, including posters, flyers, and digital graphics.
• Collaborate with the dining services team and student organizations to increase program awareness.
• Monitor current marketing trends and suggest creative strategies for implementation.
• Learn and maintain comprehensive knowledge of campus meal plans, dining locations, and overall hospitality programs.
• Learn and effectively utilize available tools and technology to complete daily tasks and projects.
• Undertake other marketing or hospitality-related responsibilities as assigned.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Possess a strong creative vision and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills essential for successful promotion and customer engagement.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools, such as Canva.
