Job Description: Marketing Intern
This is a hands-on opportunity for a Marketing Intern to join an early-stage health tech startup for the summer.
Role Overview:
The Marketing Intern will play a crucial role in shaping the voice of the company, building marketing capabilities, and gaining real experience in the health tech sector. The position offers creative ownership and direct impact on connecting patients with life-changing treatment options.
Location and Schedule:
• NYC-based with flexible hours, making it suitable for students or creatives balancing other commitments.
• Open to working in-person in New York City.
• Available for 8–12 weeks during summer.
Compensation:
• Unpaid, but school credit is available and the company is happy to work with institutions to facilitate this.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Calendar Management: Build and manage a comprehensive content calendar, planning and scheduling engaging posts primarily for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Content Creation and Repurposing: Develop various forms of content, including videos, graphics, and platform-specific copy, to maximize reach and resonance across digital channels.
• Trend and Competitor Tracking: Monitor the evolving health tech space and social media trends to ensure content remains relevant, creative, and competitive.
• Daily Social Media Operations: Regularly and responsively post content, ensuring all posts are aligned with the brand’s mission and tone.
• Outreach Support: Assist with messaging development, digital campaign execution, and community engagement initiatives to grow brand awareness and foster partnerships.
