Job Description

Summary:
The Marketing Intern role involves working closely with the Dining Services team to support and promote dining programs, events, and initiatives across campus. This position is ideal for students with an interest in marketing, communications, or hospitality. The intern will primarily assist with social media management, content creation, event planning, and student outreach to enhance engagement and improve the overall campus dining experience.

Responsibilities:
Create and schedule social media content to promote campus dining options and events.
• Assist in planning and promoting on-campus food events and campaigns.
• Learn and successfully conduct surveys to collect student feedback.
Design marketing materials, including posters, flyers, and digital graphics.
Collaborate with the dining services team and student organizations to increase program awareness.
Monitor marketing trends and suggest creative strategies.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of campus meal plans, dining locations, and overall hospitality programs.
• Learn and utilize the tools and technology available to complete daily tasks and projects.
• Perform other marketing or hospitality related responsibilities as assigned.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Possess a strong creative vision and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written) to successfully promote and engage customers.
Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools such as Canva.
