Job Description

Chartwells Higher Education is hiring for a Marketing Intern position at the University of Arkansas. This internship involves working closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote the dining program. Responsibilities include conducting market research to understand student needs, planning and brainstorming marketing strategies, developing and executing promotions and advertising campaigns across various platforms, and implementing marketing initiatives. The internship offers opportunities to spearhead projects, request assignments to expand knowledge, and gain valuable experience in the field of marketing.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), customer service experience, knowledge of social media platforms, strong interpersonal skills, general marketing knowledge, and ideally some experience with graphic design tools. Prior marketing experience is a plus.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Assisting with planning, organizing, and hosting events
• Supporting the “Dine on Campus” program
• Contributing to social media calendar development and promotions
• Acting as a brand representative
• Conducting marketing audits
• Completing administrative tasks
• Participating in Marketing Boot Camp
• Surveying students to collect marketing research
• Creating marketing materials according to various specifications
• Managing signage in multiple locations
• Assisting with developing concepts, campaigns, and imagery to communicate messages to the target market
• Managing website and social networking profile content
• Attending meetings and other events as required.
