Job Description:

This is a Marketing Intern position at Chartwells Higher Education, located at 901 South National Ave in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on promoting the dining program at Missouri State University. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote various initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting events
• Assist with the “Dine on Campus” program
• Contribute to social media calendar development and promotions
• Act as a brand representative for Chartwells Higher Education
• Conduct marketing audits
• Handle general administrative tasks
• Participate in Marketing Boot Camp
• Conduct surveys among students to gather marketing research
• Create marketing materials according to specific requirements
• Manage signage in multiple locations
• Assist with the development of marketing concepts, campaigns, and visuals to communicate effectively with target audiences
• Manage website and social media content
• Attend meetings and events as needed

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Customer service experience and knowledge
• Strong understanding of social media platforms
• Good to excellent interpersonal skills
• General interest and knowledge in the field of marketing
• Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus
• Prior marketing experience is a plus
