About the Job

This position is for an Intern within Balchem’s Human Nutrition & Health Business, specifically supporting the marketing team. The ideal candidate will be based out of the Layton, UT office, but Balchem is also open to considering a remote employee.

The role is designed to provide a unique blend of digital and offline marketing experience, focusing on shaping the brand, connecting with the audience, and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Support Digital Marketing & Analytics: Assisting with data analysis, reporting, and optimization efforts for various marketing initiatives.
Event & Trade Show Organization: Managing specific sub-projects related to the planning and execution of trade shows and other events.
Pre- & Post-Show Marketing Communication: Contributing to the creation of marketing content such as blogs, e-blasts, and social media posts relevant to trade shows and events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with various internal teams, particularly those involved in digital marketing and event coordination.
Administrative & Organizational Support: Providing general assistance for marketing operations to ensure smooth execution of projects and initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Must be currently enrolled as a junior in an accredited university or have recently completed a BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
Technical Proficiency:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
Essential experience with Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio.
• Knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Outlook is required.
Experience (Preferred): Previous internship or work experience in marketing or event organization is a plus.
Abilities & Attributes:
• Comfortable working with reporting templates.
• Capable of supporting marketing operations in both digital and event contexts.
• Able to assist in creating pre- and post-show marketing communication content (blogs, e-blasts, social media).
• Willingness to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in digital marketing and event coordination.
