Job Description: Marketing Intern
The Marketing Intern position at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™ offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth experience in the commercial real estate industry. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual seeking to understand the intricacies of commercial real estate and contribute to all stages of transaction marketing.
Objective of the Internship:
The primary objective is for the intern to gain a comprehensive understanding of the commercial real estate industry. The intern will provide essential support to the marketing team throughout transaction marketing processes, working collaboratively with various departments to deliver superior marketing services to clients. This internship aims to equip the intern with valuable marketing skills and broad experience, preparing them for a fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research and Analysis: Track local and regional activity, including demographics, market trends, economic drivers, and employment statistics that impact the local real estate market.
• Marketing Campaign Support: Support the tactical execution of property marketing campaigns by researching and creating content, meticulously proofreading content, and organizing and maintaining final files within a digital database.
• Content Creation: Write detailed market and demographic overviews for commercial real estate marketing packages, ensuring the copy aligns effectively with specific selling goals and target audiences.
Collaboration and Work Environment:
The intern will collaborate closely with both marketing and sales teams, with ongoing opportunities to work with other departments. This role requires the ability to execute multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, and collaborative work environment. A fun, positive, and hard-working attitude is essential.
Skills and Knowledge Acquired:
This internship will facilitate the acquisition of various marketing skills and provide knowledge of diverse marketing strategies. Ultimately, the intern will gain broad experience in marketing, preparing them for entry into any fast-paced professional environment.
Requirements:
• Enrollment: Must be actively enrolled in college and pursuing a degree.
• Location: This position is based in the Scottsdale, AZ office; therefore, the candidate must be located in the greater Phoenix area.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Writing & Editing: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, demonstrating a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
• Research: Strong research capabilities.
• Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
