Job Description
Summary: This role is for a Marketing Intern within the Marketing Department of ASM Global’s Stockton Managed Facilities. These facilities include the Adventist Health Arena, Bob Hope Theatre, Oak Park Ice Rink, Stockton Ballpark, and Stockton Marina. The intern will have the opportunity to apply their skills in real-world applications, gaining insights into various aspects of the Marketing department and company methodologies. Responsibilities also include supporting company policies, suggesting system improvements, and executing policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the marketing department with daily administrative tasks.
• Create and edit photo, video, and graphic content for social media platforms, utilizing Adobe Suite, native platforms, and other relevant software.
• Monitor and report on analytics for social media accounts, the company website, and email campaigns.
• Conduct research on market trends, industry lists, competitors, and new opportunities.
• Assist in researching social trends and brainstorming ideas for advertisements.
• Provide assistance on various projects and create presentations using PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
• Completion of undergraduate sophomore or junior year at an undergraduate college or university.
• Currently working towards a 4-year degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be detail-oriented and capable of efficiently multi-tasking.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
• Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Show strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $16.50 per hour.
