Position Summary
This internship is within Balchem’s Human Nutrition and Health Business, focusing on delivering innovative solutions in the food, beverage, and nutrition space. The intern will support digital marketing efforts, with a particular focus on analytics and reporting, while also assisting with event and trade show organization.
Essential Functions
• Support Digital Marketing & Analytics: Assist in data analysis, reporting, and optimization of marketing initiatives.
• Event & Trade Show Organization: Manage specific organizational sub-projects within trade show and event planning.
• Pre- & Post-Show Marketing Communication: Support in creating blogs, e-blasts, and social media content related to trade shows and events.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different teams, particularly in digital marketing and event coordination.
• Administrative & Organizational Support: Assist in general marketing operations, ensuring smooth execution of projects and initiatives.
Requirements
• Currently enrolled as a junior in an accredited university or recently completed a BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio is essential. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Outlook is required.
• Previous internship or work experience in marketing or event organization is a plus.
• Comfortable working with reporting templates and supporting marketing operations in both digital and event-related context.
• Ability to assist in pre- and post-show marketing communication through blogs, e-blasts, and social media content.
• Willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams in digital marketing and event coordination.
