Job Description:
Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Marketing Intern to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This internship offers a learning opportunity for individuals interested in business, communications, and/or marketing, with a focus on developing writing, design, and business skills. The intern will report to the Marketing Director and collaborate with staff locally and nationally.
Responsibilities include:
• Creating and modifying documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign (Creative Suite).
• Collecting project content to create new project pages.
• Collecting employee content to create new staff resumes.
• Updating existing marketing materials and presentations; help archive and maintain historical library.
• Assisting with final preparation for marketing materials by proofreading and editing.
• Maintaining the accuracy of local image library and corporate database.
• Performing periodic updates to the firm-wide marketing tools.
Requirements:
• 0-1+ years of experience in marketing, or marketing administration and client service, or college level students looking at Business and Marketing Related fields will be considered.
• Internet abilities and strong communication skills; written and oral.
• Basic understanding of marketing/communication tools and techniques.
• Basic knowledge using Excel, Word and Adobe InDesign.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven fast-paced environment.
• Possesses the ability to critically analyze and assess documents.
• Flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities.
