Job Description: Marketing Intern (May-August)
This paid internship offers a hands-on experience in marketing, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing. The intern will assist in coordinating promotional activities, public relations, and marketing strategies. Strong communication skills and initiative are essential, as the role involves interacting with management and independently implementing marketing tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promotional Efforts: Assist with trade show and event coordination, website maintenance and updates (including SEO projects), market research and competitive analysis to support campaign strategy, and management of marketing project timelines (using platforms like Asana or Trello).
• Digital Marketing: Support email marketing and contact list segmentation using tools like ZOOMInfo, Eloqua, and CRM.
• Marketing Asset Management: Organize and maintain marketing assets, documents, and content libraries.
• Creative Contribution: Contribute creative ideas for branding, thought leadership initiatives, and events.
What You’ll Learn:
• Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Eloqua, ZOOMInfo, HootSuite, and SurveyMonkey.
• Best practices in digital marketing across social media, email, and web platforms.
• Project management and internal collaboration processes using Asana.
• How marketing supports sales, branding, and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive work ethic.
• Basic familiarity with design tools like Canva (or willingness to learn).
• Familiarity with (or eagerness to learn) social media, SEO, and email marketing tools.
• Availability to work 30-40 hours/week during summer months.
