About LIV Golf

The LIV Golf League is a global golf league featuring 13 teams and a 14-tournament schedule, showcasing many of the world’s best golfers. Launched in 2022, its goal is to expand the sport globally, create new value within the golfing ecosystem, and enhance the game’s societal impact. A significant investment also launched The International Series, a set of 10 events sanctioned by the Asian Tour, providing a pathway for golfers worldwide into the LIV Golf League. Greg Norman serves as CEO and Commissioner. With tournaments across North and Latin America, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe, LIV Golf is committed to developing the sport at all levels and increasing its global reach. The company is owned and operated by LIV Golf Investments, focused on making holistic and sustainable investments to enhance the global golf ecosystem.

LIV Golf began in 2022 as an eight-event Invitational Series. 2023 marked the first official season of the LIV Golf League, establishing professional golf teams captained by prominent golfers. The format features three days, 54 holes, no cut, a shotgun start, and simultaneous team and individual competitions, creating a faster-paced and engaging experience for fans. Events are broadcast to over 500 million homes worldwide and have received accolades, including being a two-time winner of the World’s Best Golf Event from the World Golf Awards. LIV Golf also emphasizes community engagement through its social impact and sustainability strategy, ‘Potential, Unleashed,’ and has received recognition for its off-course positive impact.

About The Role: Marketing Intern

This is a full-time, seasonal, paid internship ($22/hour) in New York, NY, running approximately 12 weeks starting around June 3rd. It requires a 40-hour/week commitment.

This internship offers hands-on experience within a fast-paced, innovative sports and entertainment organization. The intern will contribute to various projects and learn about the operations of a premier sports league.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to understand golf fans and identify audience growth opportunities.
• Develop creative concepts to support marketing initiatives.
• Activate campaigns across channels, including paid media, social media, and LIV Golf’s digital properties.
• Support event marketing activities for the 2025 season.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
• Partner with external agencies to ensure high-quality execution and accountability.
• Monitor industry trends and explore new growth opportunities, including emerging platforms and media channels.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Passion for sports and entertainment brand building and a basic understanding of sports leagues and teams.
• Strong desire to learn, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative work style.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects.
• Problem-solving skills, embracing innovation and a continuous learning mindset.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, and market dynamics.
