About the Company:
Stride, Inc. manages over 70 online schools. This internship is a part-time, 6-month opportunity within their Marketing department.
Job Description:
This is a part-time, 6-month internship (20 hours/week) offering start dates in March, April, or May 2025. The internship is fully virtual and open to residents of all 50 US states and Washington, D.C. The intern will assist the Marketing department with various projects, including administrative, clerical, and project-based tasks as needed. The focus is on supporting the marketing efforts of multiple K12-powered schools.
Responsibilities:
• Content Creation & Support: Creating and preparing various content, presentations, and marketing materials. Providing marketing and ideation support to the team.
• Social Media Management: Supporting the creation of graphics and videos for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter). Submitting ideas for marketing toolkits, YouTube content creation and strategy, and webinar planning. Evaluating social media metrics and preparing performance reports. Managing social media content using a monthly editorial calendar and social media management platforms/tools.
• Student & School Collaboration: Collaborating with school staff to showcase student stories. Suggesting best practices for collecting user-generated content. Contributing trending ideas and participating in content planning meetings.
• Administrative & Operational Support: Assisting with day-to-day administrative and operational duties. Assisting in the development of marketing materials. Building relationships with internal teams and external organizations. Ensuring timely and accurate communications. Utilizing various technologies and platforms.
• Additional (Preferred) Skills:** Experience with WordPress and blog writing (including SEO best practices). Experience with photo/video editing tools (Canva, Animoto, TikTok, YouTube). Experience with social media management systems (Sprout Social or Hootsuite). Experience interviewing individuals.
Qualifications:
• Required: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Working knowledge of social media platforms. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and collaborative skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in MS365 and web applications. Ability to pass a background check.
• Preferred: Experience with WordPress and/or blog writing, SEO, photo/video editing tools, and social media management systems.
Compensation:
The anticipated hourly rate is $20.00. However, the actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, experience, training, education, and market conditions. Randstad offers benefits (health, retirement, paid time off) for eligible employees.
