Job Description: Marketing Intern (Summer 2025)

This is a paid, part-time internship (up to 40 hours per week) offering real-world experience in the live entertainment industry. The program aims to provide broad experience across various aspects of the business, allowing interns to apply academic learning to real-world situations and develop leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the marketing department with administrative duties.
• Researching and reaching out to potential new marketing partners for upcoming concerts.
• Utilizing tools to create artist demographic reports before show announcements to inform marketing plans.
• Planning poster and screen placements for shows at owned and operated venues.
• Influencer marketing outreach and setting up promotions with approved influencers.
• Completing a final internship project (assigned at the start, presented at the end): creating a marketing plan for three different venue sizes and presenting it to the team.

Learning Objectives:

• Understanding the process of marketing concerts.
• Learning how to research target demographics.
• Learning how to build and maintain relationships with outside organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (preferably in a field related to marketing).
• Previous experience (school, internship, or professional) preferred.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Teamwork skills and ability to execute programs.
• Physical ability to constantly walk, climb stairs, lift and carry 50+ lbs., and occasionally sit.

The internship program runs during Summer 2025.
