About the Internship Program:
This 10-week paid internship program (June 9 – August 15, 2025) offers college and university students valuable work experience and insights into Hasbro’s products. Interns will engage with Hasbro’s brands, receiving training, working on hands-on projects, interacting with executives, participating in individual development planning, and benefiting from mentorship.
Job Description:
Interns will work alongside passionate designers, engineers, and marketers, contributing to global product development and marketing processes. Responsibilities include:
• Product Development & Marketing: Assisting in managing line planning activities and brand strategy for high-profile brands. This involves partnering with cross-functional teams (regional and global marketing, design and development, packaging, engineering, demand planning, and costing) throughout all phases of product development. The intern will act as the “voice of the consumer,” incorporating research studies and competitive analysis.
• Brand Initiatives: Implementing key brand initiatives by identifying inventive strategies to foster business growth.
• Product Innovation: Leveraging creative thinking and consumer insights to drive product innovations and meet/exceed consumer demands.
• Consumer Insights: Translating consumer research into concise, insights-based “sell-in” stories for regional marketing partners.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Assisting in the development of overall go-to-market product strategy and supporting asset development with the commercial marketing team by providing item details and collaborating on messaging for unique selling features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Consumer/customer-centric approach with the ability to understand consumer needs and provide insightful recommendations.
• Strong presentation skills; able to communicate complex information compellingly using storytelling techniques to persuade and engage audiences.
• Data analysis skills; proficiency in Excel is required, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative brand-related information.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with internal partners across various departments (development team, regional marketers, finance, legal).
• Creative thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Passionate curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking undergraduate program in Marketing or a related field, with at least one quarter or semester remaining after August 2025.
• Full-time availability to work in-person at the Pawtucket, RI office for the entire internship duration.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Co-op assignment can be required or optional for graduation.
• Demonstrated awareness of current trends and competitive landscapes.
• Entrepreneurial spirit adaptable to a corporate setting.
• Comfortable with experimentation, risk-taking, and challenging the status quo.
• Willingness to seek and offer diverse perspectives.
Compensation: $28-$31/hour (USD) Plus benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, half-day Fridays, paid vacation and holidays, 401k match, parental leave, and more.
