Job Description: Marketing Intern (Summer 2025, Hershey, PA)

This internship provides a comprehensive brand management experience at The Hershey Company. Interns will be given significant responsibility and will have the opportunity to:

Lead Teams: The intern will act as a project leader, coordinating internal teams and external marketing suppliers (e.g., design agencies) to ensure successful execution of marketing plans. This demonstrates a significant level of responsibility and trust placed on the intern.

Analyze the Business: The role requires strong analytical skills to assess business performance and translate those findings into actionable marketing strategies. This includes evaluating the impact of various marketing variables such as advertising, promotions, pricing, product development, and retail programs on short-term and long-term profitability and market share.

Develop Strategic Thinking: Interns must demonstrate a solid understanding of the external business environment, including market trends, competitive analysis, and consumer/customer behavior. They will be expected to apply this knowledge to inform marketing decisions.

Specific Responsibilities:

Leadership: Oversee internal and external activities to ensure successful implementation of marketing plans.
Analysis: Conduct business result analysis or direct the analysis conducted by others.
Market Research: Perform internal and external assessments of the competitive landscape, customer behaviors, market trends, and their implications for the assigned area of responsibility.
Professional Development: Participate in individual training and development programs.

Education: Currently enrolled in a first-year MBA program.
