Job Description: Marketing Intern
KPMG is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist its Marketing organization. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities encompassing several aspects of marketing strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
• Digital Marketing Planning & Execution: Assist in developing and implementing cross-channel digital marketing strategies. Collaborate with media agencies and partners to create and deploy marketing tactics across various channels including print, video, podcast, sponsorships, digital, search, social media, and emerging platforms. Ensure projects remain on schedule and deadlines are met.
• Brand Campaign Management: Assist in managing brand campaign programs. This includes project management and support for event management and sponsorships.
• Performance Analysis & Optimization: Develop analytics and engagement reports to assess campaign performance. Identify opportunities for optimization, propose solutions, and implement improvements. Provide support for campaign tracking and reporting.
• Regional Marketing Collaboration: Work with regional marketing teams to integrate national marketing programs and materials into local initiatives. Maintain updated sales enablement and marketing content, ensuring easy access for internal stakeholders.
• Market Research & Analysis: Provide support to regional and account marketers by conducting strategic brand and relationship research, competitive and market analysis, and updating contact engagement data.
• Reporting & Analysis: Assist with pipeline and revenue reporting and analysis to inform and influence future marketing strategies and plans.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Interest in and understanding of advertising and media trends.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Working knowledge of media and marketing channels, particularly digital channels and emerging opportunities. Understanding of media metrics and KPIs is essential.
• Ability to analyze data, synthesize insights, and apply them to strategic planning.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and social media platforms. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Must be a flexible, adaptable team player and resourceful in delivering high-quality work.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. (No sponsorship available).
• Willingness to work in the office, at client sites, or remotely, as needed (with U.S. location required for remote work). Client site work may require travel.
