Marketing Internship at Bon Secours Wellness Arena:

This internship is a fantastic opportunity for students pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, media/multimedia, or a comparable program. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside a dedicated marketing team.

What you’ll learn:

Comprehensive event marketing campaigns: You’ll gain insight into the full cycle of event marketing from planning to execution.
Day-to-day operations of an arena marketing department: Get a real-world understanding of how a marketing team works in an arena setting.
Marketing skills and strategies: Develop valuable skills in social media, email marketing, press releases, media advisories, and more.
Collaboration and teamwork: Work effectively within a team to achieve common goals.
Adaptability and problem-solving: Learn to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with projects to increase ticket sales and event publicity.
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
• Contribute to marketing and advertising campaigns across various channels (social media, direct mail, web).
• Distribute marketing materials.
• Assist in executing event marketing and publicity plans.
• Develop and oversee grassroots marketing campaigns.
• Manage day-of-event marketing operations.
• Create, execute, and report on email marketing initiatives.
• Draft press releases and media advisories.
• Conduct demographic and psychographic research.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, media/multimedia, or a comparable program.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong desire to learn and a professional drive.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms.
• Passion for the Live entertainment industry (preferred).

Hours:

• Flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Compensation:

• This is a non-paid internship.
