Job Description:

PepsiCo’s Marketing Internship is a unique opportunity to spend your summer tackling real business challenges alongside experienced marketers at one of our U.S. headquarters (Chicago, IL, Purchase, NY, or Plano, TX). We value fresh perspectives and empower interns to showcase their ability to provide meaningful, comprehensive business recommendations.

As a Marketing Intern, you will enjoy autonomy while receiving full support, guidance, and feedback from your managers, cross-functional partners, and the broader marketing organization. You’ll gain valuable experience, build a strong network, and potentially secure a full-time opportunity upon graduation.

What you can expect:

Think like an entrepreneur: You’ll be given significant responsibility to develop high-impact marketing recommendations that drive PepsiCo’s short and long-term strategic business objectives.
Develop key skills: Gain experience in functional ownership, leadership, creative and analytical thinking, consumer empathy, and business acumen.
Exposure to best-in-class: Learn from industry leaders through professional development initiatives and mentorship.
Meaningful projects: Contribute to real-world marketing initiatives like developing brand strategies, leveraging consumer insights, building product innovations, creating marketing campaigns, and analyzing market data.

Summer assignments may include:

Developing overall brand strategies: Including in-store and online commercialization ideas to achieve long-term goals (sales, distribution, market penetration, profits).
Utilizing consumer insights: To understand challenges and provide input for product, packaging, and communication development.
Building new product innovation concepts: And crafting launch strategies.
Developing impactful consumer promotions, events, and marketing programs.
Designing social and digital campaigns: Along with innovative measurement tactics.
Partnering with agencies: To create brand positioning and communication strategies.
Leveraging data to understand category and competitive dynamics: To inform strategic decisions and recommendations for future business opportunities.

The Summer Experience:

• 10 weeks of hands-on marketing experience in a core function (e.g., brand, innovation, shopper marketing, sports marketing).
• Assigned buddy for support and mentorship.

Compensation & Benefits:

• The expected hourly pay range for 2025 campus intern openings is $55.50 – $56/hour.
• Final salary is determined based on role, degree discipline, level, and location.
