Job Description: Marketing Internship

This is not your average internship! Fuse provides students with a chance to gain practical experience and knowledge in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll work on real projects and initiatives alongside experienced marketing professionals, gaining valuable insights into the world of brand building, youth marketing, and strategic communications.

Areas of Focus:

Campus Marketing Programs: Develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns targeting college students.
Online Marketing & Social Media Strategies: Assist in crafting and implementing social media content, managing online communities, and optimizing digital campaigns.
PR & Media Relations: Contribute to press releases, media outreach efforts, and build relationships with relevant media outlets.
Retail Promotions: Support the development and execution of promotional events and campaigns.
Other Youth Marketing Efforts: Engage in diverse youth-focused marketing initiatives, building upon your understanding of youth culture and trends.

Skills You Will Develop:

Strategic Marketing Development: Gain a strong understanding of brand positioning, influencer marketing, partnership marketing, content creation, and more.
Grassroots Programs: Learn the ins and outs of developing and implementing grassroots marketing campaigns.
Social Media Management: Master the art of creating engaging content, building online communities, and managing social media channels.
Copywriting: Develop your writing skills by crafting effective marketing copy and communications materials.
Public & Corporate Communications: Gain experience in working with media outlets, managing public relations, and building strong brand messaging.

Internship Details:

Dates: September – early December 2024
Location: Winooski, VT (in-person preferred, remote/hybrid options may be available for the right candidate).
Commitment: Minimum 12 hours per week.
Compensation: Unpaid, but college credit is available.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in college.
• Strong organizational skills, time/project management skills, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Passion for action sports, music, fashion, or other youth culture (a plus!).
