Marketing Intern

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on marketing experience while supporting the dining program at Lincoln Memorial University. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and be involved in various aspects of the program’s promotion, from research to implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting events
• Assist with the Dine on Campus program
• Contribute to social media calendar development and promotions
• Act as a brand representative
• Conduct marketing audits and general administrative tasks
• Complete a Marketing Boot Camp
• Survey students to gather marketing research
• Create marketing materials to various specifications
• Manage signage in multiple locations
• Assist with the creation of concepts, campaigns, and imagery to effectively communicate messages to the target market
• Manage website and social networking profile content
• Attend meetings and events as needed

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Customer service experience/knowledge
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills
• General interest and knowledge in marketing
• Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus
• Prior marketing experience is a plus

• Develop an understanding of how to work in a diverse environment
• Gain experience in creating and implementing a marketing plan
• Learn how to conduct market research and utilize it to expand an audience or increase buy-in
