Description:

This is a Marketing Intern position at Michigan Technological University, where you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote the dining program. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Market Research: Understanding the needs of the target market through research.
Planning and Brainstorming: Contributing to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns.
Promotions and Advertising: Implementing marketing campaigns across various platforms.
Project Management: Taking the lead on projects and expanding your knowledge base.

Key Responsibilities (May include any or all):

• Assisting with planning, organizing, and hosting events.
• Supporting the “Dine on Campus” program.
• Contributing to social media calendar development and promotions.

• Completing administrative tasks.
• Participating in Marketing Boot Camp.
• Surveying students to gather marketing research.
• Creating marketing materials to various specifications.
• Managing signage in multiple locations.
• Assisting in the creation of concepts, campaigns, and imagery to effectively communicate with the target market.
• Managing website and social networking profile content.
• Attending meetings and events as required.
